North of Riyadh, linked by Riyadh Metro (Yellow Line) to the Financial District in about half an hour.
Flights and the difference between airlines
Saudia operates about 11 to 12 flights a day, flynas about 5 to 7 and flyadeal about 2 to 4. Since 20 September 2026 a new Dammam-based low-cost airline, led by an Air Arabia consortium, has added two flights a day to Riyadh. Through our own booking systems we offer competitive fares across different airlines.
Plane or train?
The flight takes about an hour, but King Fahd Airport is far from Dammam and Al Khobar (about 30 to 45 minutes), so allow time to get there and check in. The train between Dammam and Riyadh is a comfortable alternative if you prefer the ground; flying suits you better if you're heading to North Riyadh or connecting to another flight.
Before you travel
A Saudi national ID (or an Iqama for residents) is enough for domestic flights. Early-morning and end-of-week flights are the busiest for business travel, so book early.
