It doesn't replace the Irish visa; holders of a UK visa sticker in their passport may qualify for the visa waiver programme under its conditions

Required documents

  • A passport valid for at least 6 months after you leave Ireland
  • Two recent passport photos
  • The signed online application summary, and a letter explaining the purpose and length of your visit
  • Flight and hotel bookings
  • Bank statements for the last 6 months
  • A salary certificate or commercial registration

Important tips

  • Start at least two months before travel, as processing can take up to 8 weeks.
  • If you're combining the UK and Ireland, arrange the UK ETA and the Irish visa together before you fly.
  • There are no direct flights from Saudi Arabia; fly via Dubai, Doha, Istanbul or London to Dublin.
