Getting to the airport
The airport lies northwest of Dammam, reached by highway 605, which links Khobar and Dammam with Qatif and the airport. Taxis and ride-hailing apps are available at the Passenger Terminal.
Allow plenty of time if you are coming from Khobar or Dhahran: the distance is longer than many travellers expect.

The airport is a base for flynas and flyadeal, with Saudia flights to Riyadh, Jeddah and more, and many Gulf and foreign airlines. In September 2026 a new low-cost carrier based in Dammam started flying to Riyadh, Jeddah and Madinah.
