2. Sharm El Sheikh and Hurghada: a warm sea
The Red Sea is warm in November, around 26 degrees, direct flights from Riyadh take about two and a half hours, and Saudis enter Egypt without a visa. Coral reefs, diving and family resorts.
3. AlUla and the Red Sea: within the Kingdom
November is one of AlUla's loveliest months, with mild days and cool nights, and its hotels and resorts fill up over the break, so book early. For the sea, Umluj and the Red Sea resorts have turquoise water.
4. Phuket and Krabi: the start of the season
November marks the start of the dry season on Thailand's Andaman Sea, when the sea calms and the water clears. Saudis enter Thailand visa-free for 30 days after filling in the digital arrival card (TDAC), and there are direct flights from Riyadh to Bangkok.
5. The Maldives: for honeymooners and families
With the winter season, direct flights from Riyadh to Malé return on flynas from 19 November 2026, about six hours, and the visa is free on arrival. Remember to fill in the online arrival declaration before you fly.
6. Tokyo: autumn colours
Late November is the season of red and gold autumn leaves in Japan, and from 16 November 2026 there is a daily direct Saudia flight from Riyadh to Tokyo. Saudis need a Japanese e-visa, so apply early.
